Tinley Park - Chitown R/C - Chicago's Largest RC Car and Truck Community

I'm in North West Indiana so Tinley Park is the local track for me. However, I do most of my bashing in the parks or parking lots. Anyone else around the North West Indiana area?

I'm in the Orland park area, which isnt too too far.

I'm hoping the track opens soon but I think the outdoor off-road track is under construction?

glad you made it over here RCDad. There are NW IN tracks that would be closer to you than Tinley. Plus the Tinley off road track is not used and over grown.

i live about 10 minutes away from the tinley track and it sucks. they started last year off pretty good but then they did a track change and its been downhill since. The owner says he has big news for this year that will hopefully turn the track around but we will just have to wait and see. I sure hope it becomes a nice track. But for now were all at leisure hours raceway which is about 40 minutes from tinley. Trust me its worth the drive.

Tinley Park's track is ok, as long has he keeps it up and races on Saturdays.

do a search on google for "rc tracks NW Indiana" ....I know there is one or two, I just can't think of where.

that's funny. I just did a search like stated above and what do you know, the first thing on the list is RCDad asking about tracks on Radio Control Zone. hehehe....

I know there is something like "pet and hobbies" or I think there is a track in LaPorte.

RCDad, your going to have to understand that you may need to drive to a track that's not going to be right down the street from you. Some of our members drive 1hr each way to Leisure. I would too, it's worth it.

I saw that you think Tinley is far from you. That's not far brother.

Well, maybe some of us can get together at Tinley Park and then just either bash in the parking lot or head somewhere from there.
