Hey guys, I know alot of you are heading to St. Louis... (Would of liked to go myself) but for those who will be here
on the 20th, there will be Holeshot dragracing at the Devry in Tinley Park Il.

I'm looking forward to the event.. usually a good time.

Anyone think they might go?

I think test/tune starts at 9am, registration at 11:30. It's an all day thing, with a break in the middle for a car show type thing.

Ya race what ya brung. Check the vids/pics on BigSquidRC with 'holeshot' in the title. Tons of Monster Trucks, Street Cars, buggies, dragsters, funny cars.. the whole thing.

A few 'big names' in the RC industry may be coming as well.. Friend of mine (former Team Associated guy) who now runs Grand Motor Sports, and another who's building custom 1/8th scale funny cars.

Need more info, just ask, drop me a email, whatever.

I think Pop was looking for RC drags, not 1/1, I could be wrong though.

Yea I wasn't sure if he was looking to do 1:1 stuff either. But, if he does, he should get ahold of me.

I just got a phone call from Geno (the guy who runs the Holeshot event) telling me the location for the event this weekend has changed! Doh!!! So for all those with directions to the Devry Location, you need to take Harlem South to Vollmer Rd. Go EAST(left) on Vollmer, and it's on the corner of Dixie Hwy and Vollmer in a bank parking lot! I made a close up map, and a map with how to get there from the other location. Here is
Google Map
of where it is at. So use that if you can. And the maps I made:
