My buddy and I went to the Hill several times last summer on lunch break and never had any problems. We would always give the BMX'ers the right of way and we would get off of the track when we saw them near the starting gate. I think that they spent more time watching us then riding.

Anyways, we went there last Friday and the guy that mantains the track told us that somebody brought their RC trucks there just after it rained and tore up the track. I'm upset because I think that most of the people that went there were respectful of the track. It is another case of the few ruining it for the many. Too bad, it was a cool place to do a little bashing at lunch time.

I've gone to AJ's here in dekalb a couple times over the past 2 years. Whenever I go, they tell me the off road track is closed. They also don't seem to be all the friendly... especially after I told them all I do is bash.

I'll have to second what Nexus said....I'm not sure when you were there last....but...Shane who runs the place is extremely customer friendly. I would find it hard to imagine Shane being unfriendly. No one in the chicago area can run a successful track operation and not have good customer relations.....
