1/18th Bashers and Racers -

Well it is Bandit again, well before I tried to start and electric club, but the interest in that was lackluster. So latelty I really have been getting into the 1/18th scene. I currently have a RC18T, Mini-T, Mini-LST, and XRAY M18. I still have my stampede for fun. But I reworked my club idea. I have created Bandit R/C Racing which is going to dedicated to 1/18th vehicles. I have built a website and it you can view it at http://www.banditrcracing.com , I whole idea is get a team togehter to race and bash, and the only requirement is to have 1/18th vehicle. If you want to help with getting this off the ground or be part of the club please let me know.

I trying to see if I can get enough people interested and maybe HTU in St.charles might be able to accomadate us. They have a micro track in the back, where I have ran the Mini-LST on, and was told that the track can be extened to hold more cars. But we would need at least 10 people. So hopefully by me handing out flyers on the club I can get the people and we can get something together. I still need to create the flyer, it is almost done.

Update for the 1/18th crowd, I have created a logo for the club, I think it is pretty good for now, if anybody can come up with something better, please let me know. I have updated the site, and finished the flyer to help spread the word. I just have to have them printed up, I might just use my home printer and make like 50 copies and see how many get handed out. If I need more, I'll have to make a trip to kinkos.
As anybody who wants to be part of the club please sign up at the site (in the 1/18th forum) there no commitment yet, since the club has not reached its goal in members. I mean to have races and bash sessions we need racers and bashers. i finally got my mini t running last night and i think im going to get one of the chassis bulkead brace things. im not sure if im gonna be able to make it up to St.Charles all that often maybe once or twice a year at the most. so...

Well if this club really gets going I will try to have a few bashing sessions outside the burbs, you kinda like a day trip type thing, I sure there are many parks and places that would love that kind of publicitly. So we can share the love of micro monsters.

Update!!! I have finished the flyer for the club. I am going to see if I could have some of the shops would be willing to have them available to the public. I mean to get any kind of seriuos consideration we need members. If you are not into the 1/18th scene that is cool, but those who are interested in racing and bashing our 1/18th trucks or cars make sure to check the site. http://www.banditrcracing.com. I know this is mainly a nitro crowd, but any electric guys this should fun if we can get it going.
