There were a few good crashes. He almost jumped his maxx off of the parking garage. Then we both went full throttle at this jump at once (I hit second gear) and we launched like crazy. I grabbed the brakes in the air and managed to perfectly lad a front flip. He ... welll, crashed. It just looked really cool. I tried to land front flips a few more times. I had a few huge crashes trying before I finally figured it out. I just flipped, slid and kartwheeled everywhere. There should be some video up soon. As for the fire. It started with lighting the ground on fire, and then the ramp with Nitro. It was sweet. Like I said... there should be video up soon.
The only thing that happened to the revo was a corner of the body is torn up from crashing, the rear body posts are worn down and the body clips ripped through the body. On my last front flip my pipe came off when I hit the wall... but that is because I lost the set screw. Other than that... nothing broke. His truck was held together with zip ties and was running without an air filter because the motor was slid forward due to a bronken motor mount, and it wouldn't fit. On the last jump the zip ties holding the bulkhead snapped, sliding the motor further foreward chewing up the carb in the spur gear, and blowing 2 shocks. (And Drew... If you didn't have 8 inches of spacers you may not have blown the shocks. :-)) |

Good Job. Yep that's him. I just find it easier than typing out everyone's full names.
And I see what people say about not bashing their stuff. My theory is that although I may race... it is not my focus so everything does not need to have a tight perfect fit. Honestly after my first accidental front flip I didn't even want to do it any more because I was afraid of breaking something. Once someone says c'mon we need some video a couple of times I can be be easily swayed. I have found the revo to be pretty durable though so that is nice. Things like jumping through fire just look cool. Hopefully the videos came out good. I think they were taken with a digital camera. |
