Any Bashers in the Rockford area?

Looking for other bashers, and a good place to do some bashing. I always go to my work to bash, sucks going alone.

Well I'm aprox 1 hour from rockford and if a place was found I wouldn't mine going up and bashing.

Yeah I'm about 30mins from Rockford there used to be a group of guys we would bash with behind home depot on Perryville that place is long gone now though. 1Badsti here on the forums is from Rockford last time I talked to him he was talking about a place near Menards that has huge jumps. This was a while ago, back when I could get my nitro running.

I wanted to make it out to the raceway in Dekalb this year but my engine just won't run. But I still have my brothers GT that I could bring out where is the place?

Also what truck do you have? I have a electric stampede and XXX-nt as my bashers.

Where do you bash? I know Intense raceway is good but they are still closed for offroad. R/C performance in Madison is a great track but I still have to pay to play and no nitro. Any BMX style jumps or a track area? The local Hobby town was talking to the park distric about making a track last year. I don't know what happened. I'll got my electric stampede going and soon enough I'll have my XXX-nt going.

I believe the St. Charles Hobby Town was talking to the local park district.

The guys at the Hobby Town in Rockford are great guys to deal with. Really good staff at the Rockford store. I don't think they have anything going on a track that I know of.

Forgot to mention I'm 30 minutes south of Rockford in Rochelle. I have over an acre of land and my house backs up to vacant farm land. So I just run at my house most of the time. But just down the road my friend owns 600 acres and I ride my Polaris four wheeler their. Plenty of room to run RC Trucks around I will have to talk to him.

I remember talking with the Rockford guys last year and signing their list of people to call to help build the track. I guess the Rockford park district must have abandoned the idea.
