just run 30% and see how it runs before retuning. If changes need to be made, change it at that time.

MaxxGS, I'm not building my revo right now, sorry.

I am however racing a jato in the gas truck class. (Thanks Thrash)

Gotcha. I will probably pick some up Saturday afternoon so I will try running it that evening. I also checked my reciever pack since it kept cutting out on me and it seemed fine so I rewrapped that. My best guess is that it's the switch so I am going to run direct to the reciever now. I should be there on Sunday. :-)

Do you have to shim the head when you go to 30% and higher? Or is that just with SOME engines?

Oooooo... yeah I guess I would need to know that too. The motor will be a Picco .26 so will I need to shim it?

most of the time the shimming that they come with is fine. I've never re-shimmed and always ran 30% the last 5+ motors I've had.

oh and when you go to 30% your motor usually runs cooler

The weather as of today is calling for 60% chance of storms thoughout the day for Sundays race.

But the weather never seems to acurate anymore so we will have to see.

Might be interesting. We could have side by side mud drags if it does rain.

it always works out like that Roc. They will end up dirtier than before you cleaned them.

I sure hope it doesn't rain. With all the metal out there in a thunder storm it probably won't be a good idea.

It turns out that I'm not going to be able to make it. Today was my Grandmother's 80th birthday so I have a little family gathering I need to go to on Sunday. I'll make it out sometime in the future...
