I know where Winnetka is, I've been there many times. Your about 1hr from Leisure with no traffic. Not too bad IMO.....I wouldn't say "I'll never get to race". We drive over 2hrs to tracks pretty often and I've been to STL more than a few times to race/camp. I think you can make it if you wanted to, It'll be worth the drive everytime.
