Or for them (as in more than one driver) that are running behind someone else that biffs a tube and kicks one out into the track
Or for those that Marshall and get their foot tangled in one that got knocked out of place by a vehicle.....and they take a tumble while their head winds up 'in the way' of a flying 5 pound pile of plastic and aluminum.
Or for the marshall that might get one shot out from under the tires of a car/truck whos driver didnt see it laying there.... and the marshall gets it stuck in his eye.
The current 29 cent hoops SUCK.... EVERY time I have been at the track, I was picking some up, and trying to push em back in while marshalling. If it wasnt me, it was someone else.

Your track, your ideas, but from the cheap seats, that $400 or so, seems like cheap insurance, to keep participants a little SAFER.
But than again, there is
ONLY 14-15 hours of daylight now.....them lights are more important than some kids eye.
