I was given 12 AA rechargable batteries. The thing is these batteries are NIMH 2400mah 1.25V. I charged them up and put 8 of them in my JR XR3. The voltage reading on the radio was 11.0V. So if I put 4 in the car I get 5.0V. Are these ok to use or do they have to be 1.5V batteries? Will they weaken my signal from Trans to receiver? I would like to use them cause the charger I have is ultrafast and charges the batteries in about an hour. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
