its all a personal preference. I can run the airtronics all day on any kind of track and never have a problem. Some people need to suck half there battery down with there 333oz digital servo to get what they like. Just use what works for you. I like my airtronics because its a low battery draw, has tons or speed and torque, never let me down in a race, and are just perfect for me.
