is the pin that sits in the back of the sun gear ( the two Bigger gears inside the diff) Lined up and sitting correctly in the slot in the back of the gear????

I know its happend to me a few times , everything will work fine till i tighten it up, then its locked... Usually its that pin coming outta the slot and jamming things up
