Just cracked open the box earlier today and emerged 6 hours later with this:
Managed to get a half tank through for break-in and then the damn rain started. So now the mission is on hold until better weather.
I don't have any reason to not be happy with it at this point, but I can tell you that after building it; this won't be the easiest vehicle to work on for maintenance. Almost every component is just out of reach or requires dismantling the twin chassis plates. This is my first monster truck and I was taken a back by the size of it. I'd never had one in my lap before and had only seen T-Maxx's in person. It was a lot bigger than the impression the pictures gave me.
My first upgrade will be, threaded aluminum shocks and possibly the low CG carbon fiber chassis plates.
The engine was surprisingly easy to start. I did about 10-15 pulls and then loosened the glow-plug a hair and did 5 more and it fired right up. One to two pulls every-time after that.
Learned my lesson with with window tint spray paint, LOL. Luckily I had a can of black paint handy to cover it up. Can't even tell now, but the paint is heavily built up inside the body.
