what do you mean? is it not priming right. heres how i prime my engine(it may not be the safest way but im still alive and have been doing this for a while now) i pull the line from the pipe and blow in it, causing pressure to the tank forcing the fuel to the carb. hope this helps

Once I was testing my fuel tank for a leak and there was none but I went to take my mouth off the line and got a mouthful of fuel
it had a tingling feeling....lol
I either blow through the line or put my finger over the stinger to prime it.
