Is just a general comment. I have seen it myself. There tends to be less hacking in UMT than MT. UMT usually lacks beginners. Why you may ask? Because beginners don't dump $1k into a UMT and go bash/race. Beginners buy monster trucks because they're readily available, durable, go anywhere style, cheap parts, etc. I should know. You should have seen me drive last winter. If I had come out and raced 1/8scale, I would have just gotten in everyone's way.

Plus there really isn't alot of competition in MT these days. Of the regular racers, it's me and gabe. 1 or 2 guys are fast and everyone else is left behind. No fun if there's no competition. If rocco gets a revo, and dan starts driving fast with his new setup, and mich starts showing up regularly, now were talking fun! I love competition! It would be nice to show those travelers how the locals run!

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!
