Speaking from experience as I've owned and raced both....

Savage = lot of money to be fast AND consistent. I had started to spend and spend and spend and I never even got into the A main with it last year. Parts breakage was brutal too. I broke ALOT when it came to racing.

Revo = minimal work to be fast AND consistent. Hell most of the changes are for driver preference. I wing for protection, some suspension adjustments, good racing tires and you're good to go!. Here are the NON-stock parts in my truck. Engine, muffler, wing, shocks, electronics, chassis, rear-arms. Not bad if you ask me. Hell, most of the stuff (engine, pipe, electronics) gets changed out for better stuff anyway.

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!
