I would have modded any avatar I felt was inappropriate or one that lots of people complained about. No need to change them.

While yes going off topic was ok before, but I also didn't think the board would be this busy then either. Most of the offending material starts off when things get off topic severly. So we felt the best thing to do to address the situation is to try and keep things on topic. I don't see it as too much to ask .

Besides, we do have a lounge here which is off-topic anyways. I harm in using it for those 10 pages of useless banter in 2 hours threads .
