I know this would be a LOT MORE work than picking up the bits you need, but how about getting a brand new Revo, taking what you need and parting out the rest on eBay. It seems like there is a pretty good business doing that already. You could recoup your costs pretty quickly on big chucks like motor/trans/diffs etc.

Just a thought. Heck, I might start doing it myself......hhhmmmmmm......
