Our house lost power at 3pm and still hasn't come back. Sump was full and some parts of the basement slowly start to let water in. We were forced to grab a pitcher and a bunch of buckets and start manually getting the water out of the sump.

After 20+ full buckets of water, the water level finally got below the drain pipes and we were in the clear. 20 minutes later it started to rise again. My brother and I are eating a late dinner and will probably have to move another 20 buckets of water outside into the street .
