Another busted gas tank... - 09-18-2004, 02:13 PM

So with a fresh new gas tank, I headed over to leisure hours last thursday to meet up with some of you and race my savage.

After I gased up the savage I headed out to the race track and got ready to fire her up. That's when I noticed that the side of the gas tank was all wet. I wiped it down and it got wet again real quick. Gave it another wipe down and began inspecting it. This is when I noticed the lead is coming from the seam . What the hell, this is a new tank! I think this is like the 4th tank I have installed on the truck. All the previous one had gotten big holes in the from getting hit by the shock screws from bad accidents. I sweat, I have no luck with tanks.

Ahhh, feels good to vent once in a while. Time to head off to the hobby shop tommorrow and pick up another tank. Maybe look into an FM system as well .

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!
