general statement like Ponch said. I remember my first time when I consentrated fully on not touching anyone else for a whole race. I wasn't worried about fast laps or anything else. Simply don't touch anyone.
It was challenging and a lot of fun. Everyone should try it some time at a blow off club race.

I also did a race where I didn't care about anything else but hugging corners. Of course being cautious of others at the same time but my main focus was hugging corners.

practicing those kinds of skills is when I started to become a better driver. And when I say "I tried it for a race" I mean a whole race day focused on one goal, to become better at one skill at a time.
